When Cindy contacted me to photograph her and her boyfriend, I loved their sweet story and was happy to be a part of such a great tradition! They started dating back in high school when they were just 15! Now they're about to celebrate five years as a couple.
Mini sessions are perfect for anyone who wants quick and easy 'just because' photos of their kiddos, families, pets and grandparents at an affordable price.
2015 was an incredible year! From young loves to blushing brides and handsome grooms to growing bellies to new babies and first smiles, you all showed me the spark in your eyes and the flame in your souls.
I have to admit I was a little nervous when I found out I was going to photograph a surprise engagement during a recent family photo shoot. It was also my first time shooting at the beach, why not add that to the mix? :) More than anything though, I was super excited and honored!
The Mehmoods recently moved to Elk Grove after they fell in love with Nothing Bundt Cakes in San Diego. If you haven't heard of Nothing Bundt Cakes, you're missing out. Six months after opening their new business, Ibrahim Mehood was born. If his dad is called the Cake King or the Cake Boss, what does that make him? I call him the cutest bundtlet ever!
I love Glenn and Kristee's story. They actually met in a water skiing club. After a lot of poking and prodding from her mother, Kristee finally agreed to check it out and cccording to family members, it didn't take long for Glenn to "show her ropes". Whether it was family of fate that brought them together, there's not question it was meant to be.
It's hard to believe I met the La family just five months ago. We felt like old friends walking around Elk Grove Park for their family photo session. Ava, who was just a newborn then, is now almost six months. She' still the same beauty, but with a lot more hair and personality. Elliott is growing smarter by the minute, obsessed with basketball and still knows all about technology.
I always like a good story. That's another reason I love my job. Not only do I get to photograph beautiful human beings, I get to meet new people and hear their stories. The other day I went to a couple's home in East Sac to photograph their new baby girl. It was my first time meeting all three of them. At two weeks old, Lily was a doll and already getting a lot of personality. She liked to make all sorts of funny faces for the camera and made me smile a lot. This story is not necessarily about Lily, but how she came to be and it's a good one. :)
